NEXUS AG acquires HD Clinical Ltd. in London

Investment in diagnostic solutions

HD Clinical is known for its highquality products and services and employs around 60 people mainly in the UK and Ireland with offices in London and Dublin. The company has significantly expanded its market position inrecent months – NHS Scotland and the HSE in Ireland selected HD Clinical‘s SOLUS Endoscopy software solution as part of a national tender process for an endoscopy reporting system.

NEXUS AG is regarded as an innovative provider of hospital information systems (HIS) and the market leader in many specialist diagnostic solutions including radiology, pathology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, cardiology and gynaecology.

With HD Clinical, NEXUS has gained a recognised and internationally active team of experts for structured diagnostic reporting and image processing thereby strengthening its strong European market position in software for internal medicine in particular.

HD Clinical will cooperate intensively with NEXUS / E&L in the future to promote knowledge transfer and joint product developments.

“The potential that lies in this collaboration is huge. The expertise of the HD Clinical team combined with our strong diagnostic solution not only provides new regional access, but also improves product quality on both sides,” says Dr. Ingo Behrendt, CEO of NEXUS AG.

“We are excited to become a part of NEXUS. The broad product range and know-how of NEXUS will offer HD-Clinical completely new marketing opportunities. At the same time, we see great synergy potential in terms of both technology and content.” says Mark Coull, Chief Executive Officer of HD Clinical Ltd.

HD Clinical will continue to operate as an independent company within the NEXUS Group and will be responsible for expanding the markets in the UK and Ireland.

We look forward to a successful collaboration and to shaping the future of medical diagnostics and therapy together.
