Very strong sales and earnings increase in the third quarter 2024

Donaueschingen, 05/11/2024: Nexus AG, one of the leading European suppliers of software solutions in the healthcare sector, was
able to increase its sales by 11% and EBIT by approx. 22% in the first nine months of 2024. As a result, the continually positive
development of sales and earnings of the last years could be continued.

Sales improved from KEUR 171,266 to KEUR 190,805 (+11.4%) in the first nine months 2024. The international share of total business volume was 43.7% (9M-2023: 47.2%) and amounted to KEUR 83,382 compared to KEUR 80,793 (9M-2023). Acquired sales amounting to KEUR 5,649 were consolidated in the reporting period. Organic growth amounted to 8.1%.

The consolidated earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose very sharply by 21.6% to KEUR 27,179 (9M-2023: KEUR 22,352). EBITA rosed sharp by 19.4% from KEUR 26,583 (9M-2023) to KEUR 31,743. The consolidated surplus increased by 16.0% to KEUR 20,267 (9M-2023: KEUR 17,465) and EBITDA increased by 15.2% to KEUR 40,856 (9M-2023 KEUR 35,454).

As of 30/09/2024, the company had cash resources at its disposal in the amount of KEUR 102,543 (31/12/2023: KEUR 97,434). Nexus AG had equity capital amounting to KEUR 269,205 as of 30/09/2024 (31/12/2023: KEUR 258,582). Consequently, the equity capital rate is 64.8 % (31/12/2023: 62.8 %)
